The world is under the threat of the novel Corona Virus, and everyone wants to contribute their effort to resile world as it was. Famous personality from Bollywood like Sonu Sudh is helping migrants by sending those home and different NGOs working individually as well as with Government bodies to reduce timidity from society. Nevertheless, we all know the origin place of this Covid19 pandemic which has ruined almost half a year of ours. Corona Virus was first identified in China where it spread among the country and affected almost 80,000+ people, then numbers suddenly stopped increasing.

From the last three months,’ the total number of new cases reported in China is about 3000+ only. On the contrary, in other countries like Brazil (2 cases on 1st March 2020 and today almost 500K cases), Russia (2 cases on 1st March 2020 and today 396K+ cases), India (3 cases on 1st March 2020 and today more than 180K cases), Germany (130 cases on 1st March 2020 and today 183K plus cases) and in USA (only 75 cases on 1st March 2020 and today more than 1.8 Million cases) the number of case and death-roll increased nastily.

Now, people realizing the motive behind this ghastly disease, which was originated from China, and now everyone wants to slap the Chinese economy by boycotting Chinese products and services. A leader like Donald Trump has stopped funding for WHO.

Even India’s beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi has indirectly suggested boycotting Chinese products and services under the Atma-Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. Under his speech when announcing Lockdown 4.0 in India, he also proposed the people of India to become a Vocal For Local.

 

Directly or indirectly everyone wants to take revenge from China for its awful behavior, either by boycotting their products or services. Just after the announcement made by PM Narendra Modi in India, people have abruptly started thinking to avoid China or Chinese items. By the latest trend in India, people want to uninstall Chinese applications from their smartphones. However, Google Play Store or Apple App Store does not show applications’ birthplace.

One more famous personality, Mr. Sonam Wangchuk (an inspiring character from movie 3 Idiots played by Amir Khan) from Ladakh, India shared one video on Twitter and insisted the people of India to answer China with the wallet. “Cheen ko Jawaab – Sena degi bullet se, Naagrik dengey wallet se...” slogan given by Mr. Sonam Wangchuk to mitigate the Chinese economy.

Most Popular Chinese Application – TikTok

In November 2017, the Ministry of Defense in India had picked 42 Dangerous Chinese applications being used in India. The most popular Chinese application on Google Play Store and Apple IOS App Store under the entertainment category is TikTok.

In the first eleven months of 2019, this application was downloaded 277.6 million times in India. According to statistics, TikTok has over 800+ million users worldwide. TikTok – Founded in 2012, a social networking site that allows users to dub and make videos.

Xender – Established in 2011, Xender is a file and application sharing app that allows users to share quickly with other users using the intranet. Quite interestingly, the company does not share its official details on the internet.

Weibo – Which is also popular as Sina Weibo, was founded in 2009 and it is the most popular social networking site in China.

WeChat – With the motive to defeat WhatsApp, WeChat was released in 2011. It is a messaging, social media, and online payment application that has over 1 billion monthly active users around the world.

SHAREit – As the name suggests, this application is used for file and app transfer just like Xender. The company was founded in 2015 in China.

UC News – This application is from the Alibaba group, which is a news sharing platform.

UC Browser – It is a web browser from China, which is also owned by Alibaba Group. It is a more popular browser application than Google Chrome in India and Indonesia.

BeautyPlus – Another Chinese application owned by Meitu Technology, Inc. This application allows users to filter and edit their photographs.

Baidu Map – Many of you may not be aware of the word Baidu but it is one of the most popular search engines in China. Baidu Map allows users to navigate easily just like Google maps.

Use “Remove China Apps” to find out Chinese apps

There would be millions of more applications from China that are being used by India and non-Chinese people but we cannot list all of them here. In the conclusion, we found one Indian application called Remove China Apps on Google Play Store published by ONETOUCH APPLABS. According to reviews on Google Play Store, this application finds out Chinese applications are manually installed by users. However, it cannot identify default applications on various Chinese Smartphones like Mi, Redmi, Vivo, Oppo, etc.

However, this is a never-ending story just like Corona Virus. But we must understand responsibility by not choosing Chinese products or services. Whether it is mobile, smart television, plastic items, electric items, or other electronic items, we should not think to save a few thousand bucks as it could be more costly in the end.
