Indian Government banned 59 Chinese Applications

#RemoveChineseApps campaign is trending once again in India. The havoc continues to harm Chinese applications, however this time solid action is taken by Indian Government to prevent potential risk to million of android and ios users across the country.

India’s minister of Electronics & Information Technology, Communication, Law & Justice; Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad officially shared this news on Twitter.

To support this news, Press information Bureau (PIB) of Government of India has published a press release on official website stating “Government Bans 59 mobile apps which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order”

Name of the applications banned by Indian Government are as below;

  3. Kwai
  4. UC Browser
  5. Baidu map
  6. Shein
  7. Clash of Kings
  8. DU battery saver
  9. Helo
  10. Likee
  11. YouCam makeup
  12. Mi Community
  13. CM Browers
  14. Virus Cleaner
  15. APUS Browser
  16. ROMWE
  17. Club Factory
  18. Newsdog
  19. Beutry Plus
  20. WeChat
  21. UC News
  22. QQ Mail
  23. Weibo
  24. Xender
  25. QQ Music
  26. QQ Newsfeed
  27. Bigo Live
  28. SelfieCity
  29. Mail Master
  30. Parallel Space

Ministry of Information Technology (IT) has used their power under section 69A of the Information Technology act to take control on these armful applications. Earlier we have listed many Chinese applications which can potentially harmful for your mobiles. Now, Government has to take a firm step to protect data of 1.3 billion Indian Citizens.
